Until this trip to Newport, I had never been around
horses, let alone watched polo before, so this was a neat experience.
My first thought was of Genghis Khan and of war as I walked towards the polo
ground for the first time. This weekend was a special tournament to celebrate
125 years of polo in the US, and teams from Louisiana and New York participated.
